You mean the 2 cuts in 3 years? Remember the 20gb was not a permanent cut as it was a clearance sale in order to bring out the 60gb model. Consumers should never be tired of price cuts.

Why would a pricecut be a bad thing? I mean yeah, maybe it will affect Microsofts financials but...we're getting a cheaper console!

This is a joke thread right. I mean I was under the impression that Sony was doling out PS3 price cuts like candy. Most gamers have been complaining about MS taking too long with the 360 price cuts. They will have cut the price by $100 in 3 years. Sony has cut their price $200 in less than 2 years.

Many considered the 60GB PS3 "liquidation" a price cut
Alright lets raise the price then, then people will be happy.
It's kinda funny since everybody always said, "MS will be happy in third with their improvement over the original Xbox, they just want to make a profit." I guess they do still care about competing in sales.
Not really, I'm always interested how will the price cuts reflect on sales.
and I'm sure many people who wants a second console would like a price cut.
