Yes, here I too believe Warhawk is undertracked game. I wouldn't say it sold a Million, but it is undertracked, to think otherwise your an idiot or just a fanboy.


Fact: When a Nintendo fan makes some sort of thread in relation to this, they wouldn't get these sort of responses.

So if we include downloadable copies of WarHawk. WarHawk has sold closer to 1 million copies worldwide. I would guess around 800k of WarHawk sold worldwide.

sony's greatest hits require 500000 copies, not 1000000, you have that confused with nintendo's old player's choice line (on the gc it dropped to 1/4th of a million), so at 440000 warhawk is close enough to half a million, no obvious under tracking with that number

As listed by VGChartz Warhawk has sold a pathetic .44 million, which as most know is simply not true. Warhawk has been filed under the "Greatest Hits" category by Sony, which in itself says it has sold atleast a million.

My question is why is this game so undertracked, when it is one of the most popular online games for PS3.

I think it was mentioned that the PSN sales were not tracked, well why not? (Same for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue) I mean you track Xbox Live sales, why can't you with the PSN? Or atleast find out for the games available physically and via the PSN (Warhawk, Gran Turismo).

Is it so hard to send an email or two to find out?

Heres an idea- Set up your own sales tracking website, and see just how 'hard' it really is.

Well would you look at that, that seems like a fairly accurate way to track the game, while I'm sure there's a handful that haven't played a rank game, it is much more accurate than current methods.

No they were not. Any game with the Greatest Hits moniker has at least sold a million. It is the global standard for it. If you are trying to go by VGChartz then the game is obviously undertraked if it is indeed a greatest hit.

The fact that it is in Platinum shows it has sold more than 500 000 in retail sales alone.So Warhawk could very well be at 750K units.

Facts:

1. As of today there are over 680k people on the leaderboard
2. You can use multiple PSN IDs and play ranked games and get on the leaderboard.
3. People can buy the game and never play ranked games.

If I had to guess, between retail + download, I'd say the sales of the title is between 600-700k.
