Man, I used to have an international keyboard setup for when I took French in HS and now I can't remember how I did it.  There's some option somewhere to do that, though.  You had to hit space after ' or " or , I believe to use the actual symbols, otherwise it would add the accent marks to the letter.  It was kinda cool.  Tell me if you figure that out if you ever use it, heh.

Also, you can hit alt+"combo-of-numbers" such as alt+0134 gives †

Learned that recruiting for Diablo on battle.net where I learned to type, heh.  You can get lots of accent marks because it goes through the all the ASCII symbols I believe.  žŸÂš@#šŸ are some random ones.  

I can never remember the ascii values. Incase anyone is interested:
Â¥ is alt 157, yen
£ is alt 156, brittish pounds

and the one I was looking for is:
é is alt 130.
