And this is a fantastic game, RPGs are a genre that can really stand the test of time and still be amazing. Sprite graphics are still amazing in my opinion.

I'd have to disagree with your rating, however, I do understand what you mean.  For those who have already played the original then it's understandable why some may not view it as a 9+ considering how old it is.  Those who have never played it may see great value considering it's an excellent game and cheap.

I think it's important is not to compare these old games to new releases as others have already done.  It is what it is, an SNES game and should be judged based on other SNES games of its genre.

I have an urge to fire up my SNES now :)  I still have one mint with box!

Hey.. I remember this... This was actually the first RPG I played. I loved this game except... I didn't own the console it was on... Anyway nice game.. Takes me back to the old days!

Well, you did try to damage control this games score, and Wii hate, on a pro-Wii topic, for no other reason that insecurity.

Then, after a warning, instead of heeding it, you whined, and complained about how you shouldn't have gotten it, and how life is so unfair, and how everyone must be out to get you and anyone who trolls and damage controls like you do, because obviously you're innocent, and a mod was wrong to warn you.

I suppose taking it like a man is out of the question.

For the record, Folklore is a good game. So is Radiant Dawn, and so is SMRPG. 9.0 isn't "more than any RPG" I think SMRPG just scored a 9.5, and I'd be willing to bet Oblivion probably beat Folklore at the oh so revered IGN review score war, as well.

The secret is, IGN doesn't mean a thing. It's just some rediculious talking point that internet savvy youths use as a justification, when they want to claim their opinion is more important than anyone elses.

You need to stop flaming consoles that you hate, for one reason or another. I don't care if those consoles deserve the flames. It doesn't matter. When you do it, it pisses people off, and it makes them feel bad. If you wouldn't do something in real life, when why the hell would you do it on the Internet?

^ Agreed. The humor, gameplay, soundtrack, number of equipment, number of secrets, etc. are all fantastic, a true Mario game! Nintendo inside jokes are always funny (that's why I even enjoy the Paper Mario games). =P

I might need to get this game.
I haven't played an RPG since Paper Mario:The Thousand Year Door.

One of the all time greats. It's good to see that a new generation will get to play this.
