In the end the PC version will still be the definitive version. There a certain amount of seamlessness offered in Spore (especially in the space phase) and since the Wii doesn't have a HD the loading here would be brutal. All I hope is they keep everything from the PC version and don't remove things because it's a console version, like was done with Civilization Revolution.
If they want to make a gameplay experience tailored for the Wii, that's fine, but there's no excuse to make it watered down compared to the PC version.
