Forums - Nintendo - Next game to use WiiMotionPlus = The Conduit!?

Unfortunately this MotionPlus functionality is probably something quickly added on. At E3, these guys hadn't even heard about MotionPlus yet (like every other developer) and now suddenly they decide to include it in their game?

All I'm saying is that MotionPlus is going to be a very small part of this game (maybe only one weapon or part of stage or something).

# of games above 75 on Metacritic (including downloadable):

360: 241     DS: 144

PS3: 152     PSP: 126

Wii: 85

^ So you're basically saying it's a bad thing to support 4 players?

Sorry, you lost all your credibility in this thread. Please try again.

Yes.  Having 4 player multi-player games means that you need 4 controllers.  This is a rip-off.  I am SO sick of people saying that Nintendo is ripping off it's consumers.  It wasn't the console that was priced at 19 gazillion dollars at launch.  The controllers cost a lot because they are state of the art.  It's the same reason that the PS3 costs more.  The machine is pushing state of the art graphics.  It's up to people to decide which they prefer and which they will pay for.

HVS indirectly stated they may use Motion+, but they are likely going to use it in other games, as they get the kit at the end of the week.

But the game isn't even in alpha testing, so it could be incorporated.

BTW, some poster here forgets Red Steel 2 will be using Motion+.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

The Nintendo 64 was the last console I bought the three additional controllers myself. For the Gamecube and Wii I only got one additional controller, I told my friends to buy their own and they didn't mind actually. After all it guaranteed them to play if there were more than four people fighting for controllers (because it was their controller).

What, you have friends?

I kid Rol, love ya

OT: Could this game get any more attractive? HVS is really putting a lot of effort on it.

So to play the Conduit in a enhanced way I will be forced to shell out extra money for wii motion plus....in your dreams ninty

Is this not true of... Everything?

No not really.....

Ninty has literally just split the market....devs will have to cater to people with motionplus & to people without it...not very smart imo

You mean like how developers had to cater to people with dualshock and to people without dualshock on the PS1?

Didn't seem to ruin the market back then. And I remember a games that couldn't be played without analog sticks.

Red Steel 2? What? Where?! ...

Seriously, do we know anything about that game, besides the fact that it's been confirmed in development (and then denied and left as a horribly kept secret)? Do we even know if it's going to be on the Wii?

@wfz

Red Steel 2 is confirmed to be on the wii & to use motion+

Can you link me to a site that gives info on red steel, and these interviews or whatever there is? I'd like to read it. Not because i'm skeptical, but because I am interested to see how this game turns out, I hope it's great.

Ape Escape says Hi.

I reckon that quote was misinterprited. I think HVS meant that they will use Motion+ tech in their future games, not this one.
