ps3 will have better ff13 sales.
most of my friend still bought ps3 for ff games although its going to multiplatform.

Naah...Well maybe if all Jprg players jump to Xbox because lag of ps3 rpg:s..
But still, i wouldnt bet even 1€ for that.

were it WW multiplat, yes it had a good shot (GTA was a PS franchise after all and it sold 35% better on 360 from vgchatz numbers) but with the game being exclusive in a region that is traditionally it's best seller, I doubt it still has a chance. (however when it traditionally sales 3M in japan, that is dificult to forsee as there is not enough PS3's in the country...

 No amount of statistics on GTA4 sales, Price cuts and AAA exclusive will change the fact that FFXIII is still exclusive in Japan. The 360 version has no chance of beating the PS3 version.

Others seems to be getting the most HW and SW sales these days, and all favoring the ps3, with PS3 slowly but surely creeping up to passing the 360, it's already happened in Eu, and that's where more than 70% of the sales from "Others" are......

Remember....if as person actually has the choice between the PS3 and the 360 version then they will get the PS3 version because of Versus. It's no different than the GTAIV mentality with the DLC on the 360. I'm even getting it on PS3. You have to admit though, that Sony really cut off alot of people that were buying the PS3 for FFXIII to buy the game on 360. LOL what a sick move. I used to hate Microsoft, but they are impressing the hell out of me with this sick deals.

Yea unless MS gets its own Japanese version than its going to be the PS3 that sell more by a good margin. Theres a good possibility that MS could sell more copies in the US which would prolly cancel out the bigger margin by the PS3 in others. But the third market and arguably the biggest supporter of Final Fantasy games is going be the kicker.

It will be very close, but depending on the console numbers at the time of release, I anticipate a lead for PS3. Simply because of the Japan exclusivity.

Probably 60/40 split favouring PS3 worldwide.

PS3 sales will outstrip the 360 sales for the next forseeable year a pricecut won't change that. I would the PS3 the edge in all three regions US EUROPE and of course JAPAN. Ps3 version will sell at least 1-1.5 million more WW.
