One of my favourite Wii games. I actually liked it more than Galaxy on the first playthrough, but after repeated playthroughs, Galaxy probably gets the edge.
Def. the most innovative use of the wiimote and chuk so far on the Wii. I just got stuck in that chase bit and got tired of it.

Great game indeed finally beat it with 100% collectibles 2 weeks ago after owning it forever .

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
When I first bought the game, I held it in my hands for a few seconds and stared at it. I soon began hyper-ventilating due to the excitement and rapture of merely thinking that I would soon play this game. And what a game it was!
I played it a few days ago when I moved in to my dorm. One of my roomates had played it quite thoroughly, so I enjoyed his comments and some secrets he told me (like shooting the Leviathan's eye to humilate it, PWNED!). I beat it that night again for the third time. It's trully a fine game.

An excellent game. Currently playing on Hyper Mode. Last I played I got the Nova Beam.
It is an improvement over the past two games but its bosses were not as memorable as Echoes (Quadraxis, that giant snake thing in the Dark Agon Wastes, and the multiple Dark Samus fights). The art style is fabulous and goes to show Wii can compete with Xbox 360 and PS3, not in graphics, but in style overall.
One of the best Metroid games, the edge only goes to Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion because of the Hyper Beam and the atmosphere of Fusion.
Well, it managed to draw me into 3D Metroid, much like Twilight Princess drew me into 3D Zelda. So that has to count for something. Certainly it has the best console FPS controls I've experienced, being rather natural and all. Though it would be nice if it had been designed in a way that let you use the Wii Zapper, there's ways to deal with the problem of sore wrists from spastic Wiimote aiming.
Sky Render - Sanity is for the weak.
One of the best games on Wii.
Future shooters have lot to cover after this for example Conduit.
Scenes and Worlds were first a bit the same as previous entries but Elysia and Valhalla made a difference. Story was different from MP 1 &2 but it felt good..
It defined more and more those classic Metroid moments..
MP 1 create the franchise FPA but MP 3 made it even better
