So people whose 360 broke before the warranty just thought, "Gee, I think MS will extend the warranty in X months, I can wait til then to play GoW again."

I'm not saying it's a significant number, but I gauran-fucking-damn-tee you there's at least a few thousand people who just rebought their 360s back then.

I hope it's not true. That would make the PS3's game attach rate completely abysmal and fuel the argument that it's just a blu-ray player which plays games on the side.

Although this guy may be off by a few million he does raise an interesting question. How many people do not know off the extended warranty or even know what the RROD is? I still see people asking what a RROD is from time to time and it makes you wonder what percentage of 360 owners who don't visit these types of sites or perhaps don't even have the internet or just no interest in reading about the 360 online are clueless about the console failure rate and assume it's their own fault.

Anyway, we all know how this topic will play out in the end. It will raise a few critical questions towards the 360, some people here will not want to hear that, flames will be posted and the topic will be shut down.
