Your coming into this thread proves it.

The reason is quite simple, if there was no good argument saying that the Xbox 360 could beat the PS3 then obviously you shouldn't have bothered.

Anyway the point I want to make was that noone here has the full picture, not even Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo do! So while there may be a practical consensus that the PS3 > Xbox 360 in overall sales eventually, it doesn't actually make it true.

You can't. Neither can Sony prove that they'll beat the 360. Obviously, no one is touching Wii, but the other two are ions of equal strength fighting over scraps. One gains a little leverage here, the other bites harder there, it'll be IMPOSSIBLE to tell for at least a year.

lol, nice one Squil!

All we can do as investors of a particular console is hypothesize, predict, forcast what the future will bring for them. We can use different manner's of logic to determine the outcome, but you are right that that alone does not make us correct. Only time will tell (then I will be proven correct, lol ;)).

And Side Note: How the hell did you not get flamed like a million times for this thread? If someone like me had even partially suggested this for PS3 I would have abut 5 pages of flaming already?

I came to the thread because it was contraversial not because it was true.

I'd love to go through it again but this thread has fail written all over it.
