As my 65 year old mother recently said, President of the United States!? I'm younger than him and I can barely remember where I leave my shoes half the time!

I am unsure as to why everyone is citing McCain's age as a reason not to support him. There are many successful world leaders who entered into office in their 70s. Even if McCain does become incapacitated, Amendment XXV, Section IV addresses presidential incapacitation, so the proper mechanisms to deal with such a problem are in effect. I am sure that McCain will run for reelection if he wins this election.

Just because you haven't died yet doesn't mean you are fully with us either.  The last thing we need is a president with Alzeheimers, where is the proper mechanism to deal with that?

If i remember correctly McCain said he would not run for a second term, that he would get the job done in one term. So he would be a liar if he ran for a second term. So no I would not vote for him if he tried for a second term. We don't need more of the failed policies of the Republicans. As for the guy who said the status quo is democrats in office. If i remember correctly we have had more republican presidents than democrats.
