It took me 39 hours but I finally beat it, the game was one of the best gaming experiences, the end is AWESOME and I go to restart it so excuse me Im out.

It's an awesome game, to be sure, with one hell of an ensemble cast. I'm currently playing through it myself- just a couple more side quests until I tackle Kefka's Tower.

Yep the best Final Fantasy imo. Excellent game. Now you should get FFIV for the DS or Gba.(DS one is harder, and is in 3d, with better sound quality).
