Okay now your acting like a big kid. No one said your opinion was wrong. I simply said just don't get it and stop posting your complaints over and over again. I do agree with you. I sometimes take my PSP to hospital when I'm at work. And when there is downtime in the hosptial I sit back and play the PSP and sure enough I get kinda worried about the battery. Because if the PSP is on its highest brightness setting it will soon loose a lot of juice and I will be left with a dead PSP until I recharge. It's a love or hate feature. If you have titles or want titles on the PSP then don't complain about that feature just get a PSP. If that is your only gripe then so be it. Just wait. I believe if they do make a PSP-4000 model it will not have the UMD period.

Plenty of people have said I'm wrong by saying it's nothing to worry about, it's longer than it really it, it's so easy to get around, I'm only a fanboy trying to complain about nothing, blah blah blah.
Also, I doubt they will ever get rid of the UMD in the PSP until they make the PSP2. If they got rid of it that would destroy all hopes of people playing old games, would make it harder to sell new games, and require people to have some sort of high speed internet connection.
sorry, didn't see crazzyman's post

I wouldn't disagree with that. It's my job be nit-picky about every little detail.
| CrazzyMan said: New PSP's Battery Life Equivalent to Current PSP John Koller writes: "Hi, everyone, there have been reports about the battery life of the new PSP system (PSP-3000) being shorter than the current model (PSP-2000), following an interview we recently did with Gamespot. I'd like to make a correction and clarify that the new PSP will have equivalent battery life to the current PSP, about 4 to 6 hours for games and about 4 to 5 hours for UMD videos. While the enhanced screen of the new PSP draws a little more power, our engineers in Japan worked to reduce the power consumption of the overall system including its components, so you won't have to worry about losing any time when enjoying the more vibrant visuals displayed with the new PSP." http://blog.us.playstation.com/2008/09/03/new-psp%E2%80%99s-battery-life-equivalent-to-current-psp/ |
This still doesn't work for twesterm. He must according to his words have a PSP that has extra and I mean with bolded and caps on "EXTRA and MORE battery life for his taste. And who knows I wonder if there is any PSP software he likes. Cause I'm sure there is nothing on the PS3 he likes according to his previous review on the PS3.

A decent HDMI cable costs $6. Why would sony pack it in if they don't know what type of connection you are going to use? Maybe he should be happy that Sony is willing to sell him a $500 piece of hardware for $400.
Thanks for the input, Jeff.

First it wouldn't destory all hopes of playing old games, because thats what offering PSP games via Playstation Store is for, and it wouldn't make it harder to sell new games.
It works with the iPod right?
It works with PSN games right?
It works with XBLA games right?
Aren't they selling PSP games on the Playstation Store right now?
Soon I think it will expand into something better...Just be patience and things will come your way twesterm....

Why does everyone have to always assume I want it to come with HDMI cables? As I've said many *many* times, the 360 does this perfectly without including HDMI cables.

I've said many times I love it as a media player and I even like Uncharted. My complaints aren't about the PS3 itself (other than the lack of cables that let me see it in HD), it's about the lack of games I like.

The iPod, PSN, and XBLA was built with that in mind, the PSP wasn't. Also, not nearly everyone has high speed connections where they can easily download games.
They would either have to stop manufacturing UMD games completely or make less. Both are bad choices really.

And I'm done with this thread. It's way off topic and anything I would say on topic is just a repeat of what I said earlier in this thread. You can reply but I'm not going to read. Don't worry though, I'm sure I'll bring this all up again when/if the PSP-4000 gets made and they don't address the battery life issue.

You are picccccccky, bro!!! I wonder how girls are with you :P
I'm not talking about PS3 software, I'm talking about the hardware your complaining about right now: the PSP.
And I was pissed also that the PS3 didn't at least come with HD cables or a HDMI cable. It just came with straight composite cables. I was like "WTF?!"...
