Basically, LittleBigPlanet. 
Sony has been working its collective ass off to put together a great looking game line-up. Plus with Blu-Ray and HDTV becoming more popular, the millions upon millions of PS2 owners, a strong name brand, etc. etc. it's not really that hard to figure out.

It sold about as well first year as the 360 did in its first year. So why don't you hate the 360?
it sold 10m 4 months before the 360 did despite being released a year later, having more competition than the 360, and being 100 bucks more.
