OT: Good week for PS3. The 80GB really helped boost sales in Europe. What boosted the PS3 in NA? I will put it down to anticapation for Disgaea 3

Bad week for 360. The price cut seems to have had very little effect in Europe. It is now pretty much the same price as the Wii in Europe and can only scrape over the 50K mark. Obviously supply constraint in NA.

The PS3 really needs some Japanese games. This holiday season, the three big games will be White Knight Story, Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 and LittleBigPlanet. Lets hope for more at TGS.

Well there was a post somewhere that had info on there being no large shipments of 360s until September. I believe it was from the Japan branch of MS that released the statement so who really knows. It does seem valid since even the few weeks before TOV came out the 360 was in the 5-8k range if I remember correctly (could be wrong). Numbers all around seem a bit low except for PS3 but wow @ Japan numbers. They don't seem to want to buy anything atm.

Wow... it does seem like Valkyria Chronicles is being forgotten on the PS3... :( Bad choice for Sega to decide to release Valkyria Chronicles in November :( :( :( :(

I really hope Valkyria Chronicles will help push some of the PS 3 sales in NA.

Honestly I have to ask. What makes some of you think a price cut of the most Gimped version of the 360 and the most expensive versions are going to all of a sudden move 360's when a price cut of the most popular version has done NOTHING!??? I am not saying it won't, BUT from what we have seen and known I certianly wouldn't bet on it. I seriously think 360 owner sit quiet, hope, and pray this works. If it doesn't things are going to start to look real bleak.

 Let's see...the drop is on all 3 SKUs and the average 360 or any console owner could care less on how well their console(s) of choice are selling as long as they enjoy it/them.
