what happens to all those unsold games then? they cant all end up in landfill with e.t on the 2600 can they?

they sit in stores,  and sell through after many price drops, and then end up in used game bins in 2008.

Can those retailers sell the game back to the developer if it doesn't sell?

37,860 sold in the U.S.  Doesn't sound too good considering they sold 450,000 to retailers.

37K is bad for a killer game, has not had a decent debut in U.K too, R6 Vegas (second week) outsold NGS (debut week).
