Forums - Gaming - Sony fanboys have better sense of humor then MS fanboys?

I am a gamers gamer. I wouldn't want the death of any console as each console brings it's own share of goodies. However, as these forums show and countless other sites, there cannot be a new generation of video gaming unless we have fanboyism.

Having read and participated in several discussions and posts etc, I have come to realise what the difference between a MS fanboy and a Sony fanboy is (other then their preference); it is their sense of humor.

The Sony fanboys (other then MikeB for obvious reasons :p) seem to have a better sense of humor then the MS lot. Ms fanboys are quick to lose their tempters or turn very very nerdy (it is MS after all, a company built by a super nerd for the domination of nerding). Sometimes, it almost comes across as a reflection of  the companies image within the fanboy:

1) Sony being the cool kids showing of their gadgets in their shiny monster engine powerhouse without knowing much about technology.

2) MS ones being nerdy, temperamental, edgy and bullying those Sony and Wii kids for having fun and not being serious.

 

This is only an opinion and I may as well be wrong. Unfortunately I don't have the time to go through the billion posts on this site to back my statements, but anyone who is a regular here will probably have more then one example to post. 

Note: The only Sony fan who fits the MS fan characteristics rather then a Sony fan is MikeB. 

 

Ninty fanboys, please do not feel left out, I see Ninty fanboys pretty much the same as the Sony fanboys.

Well, other than Starcraft and gebx I don't really know of any MS fanboys round here... but if we just go by those two examples, then I'd say you're probably right :P
