Nevermind, I realize I'm probably coming across as being rude and bashing and that's not my intention so I'm going to keep out of this thread now and ignore the Nintendo forum from now on.
Wii internet channel is great because of no viruses. I can let my niece and nephew browse the net whenever they want and when they're done, I don't have to worry about cleaning out my computer. With the zooming feature, resolution is not a problem even on my SDTV. Only thing missing is that some flash heavy sites still break opera...

Why insult the wii's graphics on a post about it's online capabilities??
For the record, I am running my wii on a 110 inch HD projection screen and it looks just fine. Granted, not as sharp as my hd tv channels or PC games, but the wii games I have actually look very good. I guess that DVD's must look 'unnacceptable' to you also, since they are not only 480p, but compressed as well. SD TV channels are obviously WAY below your impeccable standards also. Maybe you should get the wii component cables and sit more than 6 inches from the screen.

Well, this isn't quite accurate for this generation of hardware. Both the 360 and the PS3 have massive amounts of raw processing power, they're still a couple of years ahead of what top-end PCs deliver -- the raw clock speeds of the latter don't translate into the graphical prowess of the former, the new consoles really are monsters. This wasn't true for the last gen - the Gamecube, PS2, Xbox fell behind PCs by 2002.
The genius of the Wii, of course, is that all this is irrelevant. Nintendo applied their technological savvy not to processing power, but to the other things which make gaming great - terrific controls, seamless interfaces, compact design.

All I was saying was I thought the spinning Globe was nifty and watching youtube on TV is fun, I didn't expect all hell to break loose.
I stated that Nintendo did online quite well for a first time, geez, I was never comparing it to anything else.
I got foxtel to watch news and weather. PS3 has a medical planet channel called F@H :D j/k

LMAO. And even one of the mods was planning to ban you as a troll. :) Maybe it would have worked better if your post would have been flaming and trolling? But true, you just wrote that you like Wiis online, nothing else. A bit the same thing if you had wrote that you like Wiis graphics (actually, i do), and people would have started "360:s and PS3:s are better". Lol.
