Forums - Sony - White Knight Chronicles: Some Level 5 Greatness...

This thread is to get the word out about WKC which to me is looking to be a great game. Exclusive to our favorite system and is lookingto have a pretty deep battle system. Not too much is know about the plot though. Hopefully the gameplay will be as solid as Rogue Galaxy and Dark Cloud 2's while the story is as deep and captivating as Jeanne D'Arc. Level 5 is on a role.

I just love me some Power Ranger-esque transformationy goodness lol :D

It's in the Sony forum.

First time I've seen the transformation business. That fight looked kind of sweet in a kaiju sort of way. This game has left me a little cold so far, but I really like that part. Hopefully we'll see a lot more at TGS.

Some people apparently can't Wiid.  (I crack myself up).

On topic:

This game needs to hurry up and come out...though it is looking pretty promising.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Level-5 is one of my favorite developers, i loved how they took the DQ franchise and did an epic title with it, DQ8 is my second favorite title of the saga after DQ3, also Dark Cloud, Jeanne d Arc, Professor Layton, Rogue Galaxy, etc., all of them awesome games, and White Knight Chronicles looks damn good...

Hopefully if it goes well then Sony and them won't have any excuses to make Dark Cloud 3...

This game is shaping up nicely as it seems, let's hope it plays as well as it looks.
