Interesting that home caused MS t completely re design there live experience

Please...the only influence home could have on Xbox Live would be if they had little figure characters walking around into pointlessness just to play a game or to find new clothes (The ones you cannot afford in real life) and apartment furniture. You need to flip that story around. PSN wouldn't be where it is today without Xbox Live influence. Sony had no f'n clue how to bring people together. If you could give MS something at least give them that.

Stage, how's Tekken 6 on no 360 going? Anyways, please don't compare Xbox avatars with home...Please don't...Your comparing something really amazing with something stupid...Xbox live? Come to your senses...PSN offers about the same if not equal, but for free."PSN wouldn't be where it is today without Xbox Live influence." I'm sure Xbox wouldn't be here with out Playstation influence...

If you're going to compare avatars you should be talking about the fact that Microsoft would be the last to implement avatars after the Wii came up with the concept, Sony came up with Home to try and dismantle both Live and the Wii's online community at the same time (Which will fail), and Microsoft followed suit since this seems to be the avatar era.

Home was in development before the Wii even came out...Yes, something thats totally free will fail!Give yourself a pat on the back.

Anyway, they liked the Wiis concept more than they liked Sonys and found it to be better to implement the characters into fun exclusive games such as 1 vs 100, Scene it: Box office smash, Monopoly, Uno and more. I doubt you can use your home character for anything but Home world physics games, which will be no better than GTA IV's Bowlihng and Pool, so cherish the PSN games.

Yes, except you forgot PS3 has updates...Put this on the book, Home was been made for the ps2, but wasn't released for the ps2. Than again, why is home praised more than Xbox avatars and Wii miis?

As for influence you need to understand that Sony never would've understood how online truely must work to survive after its lost battle with Live last gen. I didn't even play Xbox as much as PS2 last gen and knew that Live was far superior. This gen theres far more games and a much larger community. Microsoft is raking in money on Xbox live. I cannot blame Microsoft for expecting payment when Live is an awesome experience which is worth every cent. PSN can be free all it wants, i've used it. It should be free. When I get my PS3 that will be one less thing that I have to worry about paying for.

You need to undestand Xbox wouldn't be here without Playstation. They lost last gen online competition, and Microsoft won the online competetion, but fell short by 100million customers...Wow, I don't know, but if I were to decide between Ps2 and Xbox live...Ps2 would be the clear winner...Stop with the PSN should be free. PSN is worth Money aswell, because truly Xbox Live isn't as great as you think it is, and please tell me how Xbox Live is a lot better then PSN?

Microsoft is trying to figure out how to meld the Live community with the PC community as we speak. If this works, then they will be able to boast the largest gaming community for gaming in the world melding PC and console into a similar gaming experience.

Yeah...Keep on waiting, keep on waiting, I'm sure this is nowhere near complete. Oh wait, wouldn't this like triple the cost of Xbox live...

I don't get what the big deal is about it.

The big deal is that this Product plans to establish itself with franchises that draw in the youth crowds and older alike.

Young consumers like to customize, make something their own.

It plans to tap into what XBOX LIVE and MYSPACE have by joining them together. The combination of interactivity from live while adding the customizability of making your own space equals ultimate win for Home/PS3.

Greatness Awaits

 Red:

1. Sony came up with home long before Wii's "community"

2. not if the implement trophies.

Blue:

HOLY SHIT! You are really that dumb ass Mattrick aren't you? Your not? Well damn MS should be paying you for PR work.

Green:

being able to play online should be free. So yes, Ps3's online service should be free. And it's dedicated servers are much better than 360's P2P servers. I can also guarentee you that Sony is raking in money with their high quality titles on the PSN such as Warhawk, GT5P, Siren, R&C:QFB (see you aren't the only one with PR skills.)

Grey:

At least the PC users will play for free... OH DAMN.

(Try googling next time?)

There is only one way for Microsoft to do that, and that is to buy Valve (and thus Steam). With Steam as competition, Microsoft has to get some serious work done if they want to compete on the PC.

home looks amazing, it appears only other fanboys seem to have a dislike for it.

well i have news for them, home will be out on ps3 only and you will never find anything like it on any other console platform. all for free:)

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Home = GTA IV trophies...hopefully.

sopposed it influences home in extra feautures and get you stuff in it. but i dunno, i read it some where.
