3Further proof, Halo is a xbox game, since 360 owners won't get to play KZ2, why call out to them? Why not leave it at Resistance and CoD4?

Anyway, aside from the graphics, this game is barely on my radar. It's not entirely the games fault (it seems like a very "me too" experience as it doesn't do much to stand out) but I'm more hyped for what's ahead (R2 and LBP), both of which seem like much more "complete" games that don't rely on a single draw (i.e graphics).

By the way, it's less shutting down what's "amazing" on the PS3 and more bringing the rampaging fanboys back to earth. Killzone may be a good game, it may even be great, but it hasn't shown enough to distinguish itself from the console FPS kings (in the same way bad company failed to do so, despite being a fun game).

Why Hype a game that's a while from release, just to see the Hype cool down on release date?

1. Both titles were praised for multiplayer achievments on is multiplat... whats wrong with naming them? You guys just get too touchy and whine like babies.

2. Oh my god... No one said its a Halo killer who is anticipating this game in this thread. Only you defensive 360 fanboys.

3. Whos to say xbox owners dont own a ps3...

We might be angry over something loosing exclusivity, FFXIII, DMC4, but not of something that has been seen as the property of another system, such as Halo3, Mario, etc. That is exclusive to other console owners. Always wanting what belongs to SONY. Our gripe with loss of exclusivity is warrented seeing as it means not as good a game if it were exclusive. other fanboy's wining is unwarrented becuase they only do that because they are cheap and dont want to spend the well placed bucks for a PS3, besides they have spent so much time bashing the PS3 that it would feel hypocritical to get one, and it is. But you all will see in the long run. The Wii's steam will slow down onece people realize there will be no new games for it. The 360 is gasping for air already, throwing money wherever they can to steal the PS3's momentum. The PS3 is all powerful, it cannot, will not fail...

And even though it has not been anounced I would geuss it to be PS3 exclusive becuz

-PS3/Wii would be a huge let down

-Tetsuya Nomura Directs it and he Hates the 360, but loves PS3. He is "Fond" of the Ds but not the Wii as many seem to try and translate him to be.

-Exclusive to Wii is rediculous seeing as RPGs fanbase stronghold lies on the PS3. Majority of early adopters bought the PS3 for just such a game, as well as FF.

It is a FPS, it will take a lot to make me excited. FPS genre is oversaturated at this point, and I wish we would get more RTS, RPG, Adventure and Action games.

The 360 is finally turning a profit and its sales are up year over year, and the Wii is still flying off the shelves. The PS3 is a great system and I certainly don't expect it will fail despite its rocky start, but fanboyism of this caliber is frankly pretty scary.

P.S. Search for Star Ocean 4 and see how "exclusive" whining about wanting other systems' games is to 360/Wii fans.

P.P.S. How can the PS3 have all the true RPG fans when it barely even has any RPGs? If they were true RPG fans, wouldn't they have invested in another system the past couple of years? One with actual RPGs? Like maybe that ridiculous Wii?

You do realize the PS3 also has COD4?  One of the coolest things in that vid, if you click it, is when the guy calls in air support via a flash grenade.  Details like that, make this game seem pretty damn epic. We'll see though, if it combines what I like about COD4, Resistance, and Team Fortress 2- I'll have a new mp favorite.

 

Yes I realize that COD4 is on the PS3, but the experience is better on the 360 hands down.

 

I have both the PS3 and 360 version of the game.

The graphics seem to be slightly better on the PS3 version in my opinion. The online also seems to have less lag and less hosts leaving games.

The 360 though has more people talking on headsets. (Although some of the American nerds...*shudders*)

In my opinion, as a gamer with both versions, the PS3 version offers a better experience.

The trouble is KZ 1 was really poor. and IGN confirm the same problems exist. For me no amount of graphical sheen will overcome those faults. And as it stands Far cry 2 takes the graphical crown on consoles quite easily.

I have read the op. The title itself is aking for a flame war. The other thread you created about LBP ended the same way. Your obviously missing why Halo is loved so much. It's the story, the amazing AI and addictive multiplayer. It pretty much has a cult following along with Doom and Halflife. Graphics arent the forefront of making a Halo game thats the difference. Selnor out.

LOL yeah, a cult following which made it 8.16 million in copies sold. I'd love to see a PS3 game even reach the sales of this "cult" favorite.

 

Why do that. I'm talking FPS. no other genre. Halos sales for a FPS on a single platform are staggering. Are you aware of what loads of Halo nuts do in america?

You ever think people like Selnor could give an UNBIASED opinion? Look at how he responded to STAGE, a fellow fanboy, for even mentioning the word "cult" in reference to Halo.

Don't worry about it. Killzone 2 and LBP simply have no equals for what they are trying to accomplish anywhere else. The fanboys can like it, or bash it blindly. Either way reviews and sales will speak for themselves. Just remember that its almost possible for someon to type "Game A looks better than B." Better is a matter of opinion, even if their opinion is complete crap, lol.

I think most people who don't own a 360 would clearly see that Killzone 2 looks miles better than anything else, and thats been the general opinion on the internet of late. VGChartz is a place for sales information, not for news, and DEFINITELY not for unbiased opinions. (Haha Selnor, watta joker.)

You used the word "might actually", which everyone (including the hardcore Xbots) will agree with you. Killzone 2 MIGHT ACTUALLY be a success!! I admit it.

The problem is that you're one of the few that says "might". For example look at forevercloud's previous post with "The PS3 is all powerful, it cannot, will not fail..." ... its that mentality that the PS3 is a god that drives everyone else nuts.

This amazing belief that the PS3 cannot fail is weird, and I actually hope that the PS3 does well so that all these poor souls don't do anything drastic if the PS3 ends in third place.
