All it was saying is that if you like Halo or COD4 then you might enjoy this game as well. You just want to bash the hell out of this game becuase it IS the best looking game of THIS GEN so far. It has out done any game made for console so far(So dont bring up Crysis).

You xbots are just mad it is not comming to your system. I never hear PS3 fans wining over something that is exclusive to another system, never, it is only people on the 360/Wii front. "WAAAA! I want Kingdom Hearts and LBP on the Wii!" or "Waaa! Killzone 2/Resistance 2 should be on Xbox 360 cuz that is where the fanbase is!" Which all of you fail to realize that sony has always had the Casual as well as Hardcore in it's pocket. Last gen it had games of ALL TYPES not just one specific genre (cough*FPS 360*cough). All I was saying in the OP was if you like those two games, you'd like this game. Apparently you people get so upset at anything akin to being "amazing" on PS3, that you have to doubt it every step of the way.

And I don't recall KH3 being announced for PS3, exclusively or otherwise. Way to count your chickens before they hatch.

Don't deny it, because the fact of the matter is, Killzone was meant to be the Halo killer, KZ2 looks good so it's going to get the same title AND CoD4 is the reigning multiplayer FPS king at the moment, of course you'd set Killzone 2 upto those two games because they are what it needs to beat to be remembered.

Further proof, Halo is a xbox game, since 360 owners won't get to play KZ2, why call out to them? Why not leave it at Resistance and CoD4?

Anyway, aside from the graphics, this game is barely on my radar. It's not entirely the games fault (it seems like a very "me too" experience as it doesn't do much to stand out) but I'm more hyped for what's ahead (R2 and LBP), both of which seem like much more "complete" games that don't rely on a single draw (i.e graphics).

By the way, it's less shutting down what's "amazing" on the PS3 and more bringing the rampaging fanboys back to earth. Killzone may be a good game, it may even be great, but it hasn't shown enough to distinguish itself from the console FPS kings (in the same way bad company failed to do so, despite being a fun game).

Why Hype a game that's a while from release, just to see the Hype cool down on release date?
