How did this thread go from talking about a game to getting everyone to buy a PS3?
Seems like OP gets paid for every PS3 sold???

Exactly.  The rating system will be similar to YouTube, and you can sort games by type, size, rating, user, etc.

There's a reason YouTube does so well despite the amount of crap on the site.  It's still pretty easy to find good stuff.

The only potential rough spot is allowing people to start charging for their levels. 90% of the people suck at making levels so if the few that do want to start nickel and diming you it could hurt the community. I am really interested in seeing how that one plays out.

First off, charging for levels was an idea thrown around by an exec.  Secondly, you can only charge for levels if Media Molecule likes your work.  Lastly, there'll be so much free stuff, that the levels that are charged for - will probably have something spectacular.  Alex Evans of Media Molecule assured Neogaf it wouldn't end up like that.

And Alex is a pretty humble bad ass guy.  I listened to all the podcasts, and have taken his word.  Believe this or not, there are still features in Little Big Planet that haven't been unveiled.  Apparently there is a feature that will make people say 'WHAAAAAAT?".

Well you obviously don't own a PS3, and it was in good fun.  We are back on topic.

My parents don't even know what Blu-ray is let alone care for it lol. They'd say a big no to $350... :/

Seriosly...wow I see commercials about "The Power of Blu-Ray" nearly everday. but If you could actually get a used 60gigs for $350, then you could just get your parents to buy it for you, sell it on e-bay for $500 and then get another one for $350  and your parents would only spend $200.

You know I still don't get how you can get a used 60gig for $350 I sometimes see people paying $1000 on e-bay for them :/

The only reason I offered it to Soriku is because I know he would benefit the community from his impressions.  I don't want to send the deal out to just anyone.  He knows its legit, and its in his inbox.

don't worry i'm sure your not lying about it.

I do kinda feel sorry for Soriku though only 3 games a year, that's gotta suck. My parents alone are gonna buy me 3 games for Christmas then I'm gonna buy a game or 2 for myself. Plus my parents will rpobably buy me another 1-2 games on my birthday in March :/ makes me kinda feel like i'm spoiled. but then again a lot of my frieds get 1-2 games per moth so meh...

OT: I'm defiently gonna get LittleBigPlanet though unfortunatly i'm not gonna be able to Pre-Order it at Gamestop for the Kratos costume because my parents hate Pre-Ordering games ...

EDIT: @Jgarret In all honesty i'd be willing to chip in $60

Soriku we're behind you :).

Still? It wasn't the lip synching thing? Because that made me go, "WHAAAAAAT?" I might've just missed it before, but I had no idea about that feature.
