And for most people who don't game, they'll buy the Wii if they see it played at a friend's house.  Some may buy the PS3 for BR movies, but if you are already technophobic, you are going to want a very simple BR player, not one that was designed to play games and btw also plays BR movies.

This thread is dangerous. If anybody says the PS3 can catch the wii, and then gives an adequate reason, they will get banned.

Not in my experience. Its games that people want for the PS3 not a cheaper console. And we are still waiting for the big games such as GT and FF. And they are always getting put back and back.

 

PS3 has more games that appeal to true gamers. Wii has games with terrible SD graphics  with waggle tacked on.

 

 

I do not know were you been, but there has been a ton of good games comming out for the Wii

The PS3 can catch the Wii. It just needs to start selling at a rate much higher than it is and at a significant amount above the Wii so it can catch it in the next 5 years. And it doesn't look like it will happen.

 

 And noone should get banned. It was quite lively but nothing ban worthy.

its all a matter of opinion and i would disagree with you on that one. everyone has the own tastes and me, the Wii isnt to my taste at all

That is all a matter of opinion. Wii is only good for playing with friends when you are drunk. As far a single player console and online gaming is concerned PS3 is the best console with the best graphics in games, lots of PS3 games that I like, Blu-Ray movie player, browse the internet and BC with PS2.
