I think Heavenly Sword will be the best selling new IP on PS3 this year. There is no way Lair approaches Heavenly Swords sales. I think Uncharted and HS will out sell Lair handily.

Since everyone seems to agree w/ me that HS will outsell Lair, I'll have to think of another prediction, just so that people won't think I'm pitching myself softballs.

I don't think Uncharted will outsell Lair this year because it's late in the year. I do think overall though that Uncharted will outsellf Lair.

I do think Heavenly Sword will outsell Lair because it is more accessible and it's a more popular genre.

I already ate a little crow for Sony's Bluray.
Still seeing how it pans out, of course, but I had expected it to tank right from the beginning. All in all, I found it to be a good experience though, my arguments for and against consoles are a lot more rational now.

I actually ate more crow when I had thought that Zelda TP for the Wii would have the option to mirror reverse everything to play left handed just like the Gamecube version. I found that to be very disappointing.

I had never expected Xbox to make another console, but since the Wii is already about to surpass the 360 in sales I don't quite feel the need to eat crow for that. Before that I had asked for a gamecube over a PS2, but that was for Smash Bros. Quite frankly if I had to do it again, I'd have bought the gamecube even if Smash Bros Melee was the only game ever made for it. Along that same vein was Windwaker, which I thought would be complete crap, but turned out was pretty decent, the sailing around everywhere is still a bore though, so no crow for that one either.

I don't think it's fair to serve crow for sales predictions that were wrong. Especially predictions that were ASKED for.

Crow is for those who predict one thing and are pretty certain of their predictions. If they are off, their prediction was wrong, and eating crow is just a polite way of facing up to your incorrect prediction. You don't lose face ... as a matter of fact, your willingness to eat crow garners respect, because you have the fortitude to admit when you are wrong (a rare quality in people nowadays).
