You all are acting like the Master Chief would just stand there and let her shoot him with her rockets. He's got rockets too though, and don't even pretend that Samus could survive getting hit with the Spartan laser. Really it will come down to who gets off the first shot.
They're both genetically-enhanced superhumans in badass power suits.
That said, Samus has about a billion more weapons and power-ups and special abilities and whatnot.
Samus would freeze the Chief in mid-air, and then just roll around on his hovering frozen ass and lay bombs.
