Pyramid is a studio within Sony Japan which is one of the subsidiaries owned by Sony. Regardless, Patapon was still PRODUCED (read title) by Sony.

LBP is also produced by Sony and more specifically green lighted by Phil Harrison when he was in charge of WWS.

Developed =/= produced.

You can't really develop things without a company producing it.

um just no.... nope....

Ill give the big N, for most controller inovations, ms & sega for first online console dreamcast, ms first hard drive console, this one im not sure on i think the xbox was first with 720p do not know if the ps2 could push that ,um sony...... um..... , hmm , the eyetoy? sixaxis? oh wait now i know blue-ray....

... did you not read the post? Patapon is a 1st party game, Tsutomu Kouno has been with Sony since early PS2 days and he developed both LocoRoco and Patapon. Therefore, Sony created the game and produced the game.

LBP is an I.P owned and produced/published by Sony. Also, If it weren't for Phil Harrison @ WWS, LBP might of never saw the light of day, same goes for EyeToy, Buzz and SingStar.

sofware wise is true. games like patapon, loco roco, lbd are very different to what seen on the market.
nintendo been releasing old ips with very few things added kart, brawl, galaxy.

but their console if what people believe its innovative its the controller.

sony well go blu ray and cell.

MS and Sony is above Nintendo but that is beacuse Nintendo is all about Videogames, MS and Sony is not.

If it is just about Videogames no one comes even close to Nintendo, saying otherwise is just foolish.

Well you would expect that Sony were producing the most innovative games for their own consoles, and from what we have seen they are doing quite a good job as are Nintendo and Microsoft on their respective consoles.

Yeah... i mean they do know the hardware best...

What funny is that nobody read the actual OP... and are now apparently argueing that MS and Nintendo are more or less innovative on Sony consoles.

 

 

 I can see a case being made for Microsoft indirectly being a big innovator on the console. The online services offered via the PSN are clearly being modeled after Xbox Live. You qould have to put forth online services as the premier part of the console (as opposed to games) though and I don't think anyone would argue that.

I don't know. Sony is surely going a different direction than MS has gone with XBLA.
