It's certainly not going to be MAG, simply because it's coming out it has a tentative release date of December 31st, 09. I'm sure another big flop will hit us in the next year and a half.

I'm calling LBP as a flop just because there's no way it can live up to the hype. I mean, I see a lot of people saying 5+ million total, and a couple saying 10-20 million. Nothing can compete with that hype.

Oh, and Spore as well. I have yet to see anything in that game that looks like it's fun.



Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.

@FishyJoe: I don't think Spore will flop. The creature editor already have sold quite well (although, it's really cheap).

For all the forum-based hype over it, I certainly haven't seen much off-forum interest in LittleBigPlanet. If anything, it seems like nobody has even heard of it, and the ones who have that don't browse forums like the ones here tend to not really get what it's about or why they should care about it. So I'm going to say that LBP has at least some chance of being a failure.

My next big flop is BK3. If it fails to expand 360's casual market (or Microsoft bundle it), it won't sell at all.

I have a feeling Red Alert 3 is going to disappoint. I hope it delivers, but I have a feeling that it will not.

I think the better question is... how is it NOT casual. A game based on collection items to build better car?
