Halo 3 definately is quality when you consider how much its played online, even today. Halo 4 could be out in a similar timeframe to COD 6 considering a shorter 2 year development timespan, forseeably given past performance its about the only series that could/would challenge COD6 for that top spot for the remainder of the generation in the shooter genre. However the edge goes to COD6 because its a multiplatform release.
They should be able to make the SP longer on COD 6 because they don't have to expend the resources like last time to develop the engine, and they will surely have more resources to make the game bigger in every way.
