In this case, you are wrong, imo.

The reason is, the original post is an article. It's not a question piece with a specific area of discussion.

So, replies or comments can just as well be about the article or its credibility as they can be in reply to the article. I stated with obvious sarcasm that the topic creator must be bias. I did so without insulting anyone. I did a very good job, as you can see, there are nearly more replies to my small sarcasm commentary than to the original article. Not only that, but my sarcastic post raises many valid points when it comes to the credibility of the source of this article, which is perfectly accepted in other threads, regaurding authors that can't defend themselves. Impulsivity is ahead of the curve on that matter, as he can come to his own defense.

Also, you single my post out, yet there are a ton of other "off topic" comments that give opinions on the article, rather than discuss its assertions. Are you not holding people to a far stricter standard than would a normal person.

To be clear: As an imperfect poster, I stand by everything I've stated in this topic.

Articles have evolving discussions, and responses to others posts are completely accepted and not off topic, as are comments about the articles merits or the TC's credibility. When I create an anti-Sony topic, feel free to flame me. An example would be your post calling me out, which isn't off topic at all.

However, know this, my first post wasn't anti-Sony, or at least those were not my intentions, as I hope I made clear in my previous post. I'm not perfect. No one is. I just hope that most people here would agree that this article is an opinion piece from a biased poster.

Congratz, I guess. I would have kept the 360 just because of my love of jRPGs, but whatever floats your boat. I owned a Wii for a while before I sold it and it does have a good resale value.

Looking at Zen's post history, and being a fairly new member of VGChartz, it seems to me that he gets the most backlash when he's the most logical. There are several people on this forum that I find very capable of writing interesting and intelligent posts. Those people make up about 1% of what I usually read here. The other 99% of the posts I read look like they were written by 12 year olds. Therefore, the more logically and intelligently you state your opinion, the more crap you get back.

I personally think that Zenfolder is right on the money in most of his posts. Truth hurts sometimes.

I don't think IU is going anywhere but the 360. Luckily I'm not that torn up about it since it's a Tri Ace game (just published by SE) and will probably be a middling action RPG as their games tend to be. I've played at least 4 or 5 Tri Ace games and have yet to play one I would consider "must have". Come to think of it I can't think of a must have I've played from Square Enix since the merger. All the greats like FFX, Parasite Eve, Vagrant Story, FFVII, Kingdom Hearts ect were from Square before the merger after Enix was added its been this group of rehashes which are bordering on shovelware. I mean they make a console game and its a chocobo mystery dungeon game? Come on, wheres a real console RPG from SQUARE not as publisher but developer?

The only JRPG for the 360 I'm really interested in is Eternal Sonata which is finally headed to the NA PS3 with extra content/characters. With Disgea coming this month that's more then good enough for me :D.

yeah, probably.  which ever one they liscenced the unreal engine for.  square has so many games with so many strange names being made right now it is hard to keep track.
