Good thing about the game is that it's a RPG the bad thing is that it's a action RPG but I will still buy it beacuse of lack of RPG's al over all three platforms.



If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

No (I wish it is) but it seems to be just foil cover a la Stranglehold and Vikings.  There's a pre-order box with mock up cover on it.   I actually rather have that than  a print that I will probably throw out in a few years but the lack of DLC bonus is what holding me off getting Best Buy edtion.

I found an auction that offered to ship the game to me on the 26th. It should arrive on the 29th latest, and therefore, when I get the game, it'll be a day one purchase.

However, it will still be factory sealed. If somehow, the IGN review was totally off base and ToV ends up with a 4/10 or something like that, then I can sell it back for full price and use that credit for IU, or Fable 2 or whatever I decide I want to buy.

The game looks ok imo. I'll probably get it eventually, but I'm more interested in ToV.

The reports are this game will be short-ish but look at the characters levels.. You would think it be capped at level 99 :o

 

EDIT: Arrggh well the first pic with aya, Capell is level 117. I just been told that the level cap is 250!!!! Wonder if the monsters get very hard as well the more you level up? :o

 

Plus in the other thread before it got locked it stated IU was gonna be 20-25 hours long..

Edit:

Is this using the Unreal Engine as well? I mean I know its in game RPG, but looking at what Final Fantasy, and even Lost Oddessy looks like, this is kinda fed up. RPG's are in no way about the graphics (except maybe the Shiva summons *whistles* ooh just thinking about her gives me chills...jp) but why does this game look like FF12?

Now I would absolutely love to get this on the PS3, and seeing as the PS3 has jack on the RPG level I might even dust off my 360 and buy this for the 360 if the reviews are good enough, but why in the hell are we seeing the same dull character models as last generation? I don't get it.

Please don't kill me for saying this, but I think it has to be said. An RPG could be a hit with FF7 graphics on the PS3 at this point, but I don't get why this game looks like this. I'm starting to think RPG's should just stay on the DS and PSP.
