On Game trailers TV they announced that the demo would be coming next week on XBL and PSN and it would be the first level with the apprentice, on the Tie Fighter factory

LA is doing 360/PS3 versions and Krome Studios are doing the PS2/Wii versions. 360/PS3 have one team, PS2 has one team, and Wii has one team.

In short, while they do own the IP the project isn't in their hands right now.
