do we realy need all these sequels and spinoffs !! how much more can activison milk out of this title ? other then GH3 legends which sold a cool 12 mil combined  , and on tour selling a bit under a mil , the spinoffs are not doing well at all , customers are not gonna come back for a game they already own and pretty much are sick of rite now !

here are the vg sales chart for Guitar Hero series http://vgchartz.com/games/index.php?name=guitar+hero&console=&region=All&developer=&publisher=&genre=&keyword=&boxart=Both&results=50&order=Hits

They need to stick to the main games definitely. The mediocre spin-offs are unnecessary. Still, the DS needs GH, too, so On Tour's OK.

3DS FC: 1306 6473 7511

Nintendod Network ID: xsorenx

Add me for Pokemon, New Leaf, and Fire Emblem, Mario Kart 8.

I would just buy from the main series...

Activision is striving to be worse than EA in the overmilking category

What? It sells, and I'll keep buying them as well. Better to pay 60$ for 40+ songs every time than buy downloadable songs that cost 2$ each in my opinion.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

the more the better. i like to have choices.

the Wii is an epidemic.

Just buy the main series and stop ranting. If they make a GH for band youd like Im sure you would buy it too.
Every big title gets milked its just the way it is.

Better yet, get a real guitar.

Can't wait for GH Metallica, after that they can cancel it.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

I love it. If you don't like Guitar Hero, don't buy it. If you don't like DLC, don't buy it. If you don't like spin offs, don't buy them. If you like them but think they are overpriced, buy them on sale or used, rent them, or get them from a friend.

I played friend's copies of GH1 and GH2. I bought GH Aerosmith for $70 from Amazon. I am very happy with all of the games and glad I played them (including GHA today).

I do understand your point, though. It seems silly that Madden, FIFA, and NBA Live come out every year. EA even does a Head Coach spin off of Madden. But hey, I guess millions of people like Madden and Guitar Hero enough for it to be worth it to EA.

BTW, GH 80s sold well considering it was only on one system and GHA is going to sell more than enough to justify its creation.
