Was anyone not surprised to find that PS3 outsold the 360 in July (NPD).

I know I was. If a price cut can't push the 360 past PS3 in the same month that FF13 is announced for it, then what can/should they do?

I'm really at a loss here. Any suggestions besides "just wait for Gears of War 2"?

MGS4 came out in July. It is generally regarded as an amazing game. It sold a few consoles. End of story.

You shouldn't be surprised at low sales in the summer. It's always a bad time of year for the video game industry.

Advertise more, I haven't seen a commercial for the console in a long time. They should also do ads showing Netflix being used on the 360.

Heck, theres not much else they can bring in the gaming department. Advertising would probably do it, considering I see a PS3 commerical about 3 times every day, and a "Wii would like to play" about 5 times every day.
