I have to agree that Xen & Torillian weren't trolling. In fact I don't recall ever seeing Xen trolling. He is on the Microsoft forums a lot because he loves JRPG's.

On topic though that new trailer just sold me on the game and I'm gonna force some of my friends to get. Probably only have to show them that trailer. This game looks awesome.

Xen, on the other hand, comes in to quite a few X360 threads and bashes Microsoft quite a bit. Some excerpts of his various threads about the xbox:

So on my end, it does get a little tiring to hear some Sony fans drone on about all the evils of the X360, or ask when a game is going to come to the PS3. I understand Xen does come in here and contribute once in awhile, but he also bashes the X360 a bit.

And Blazin - If someone from the forums decides to really troll, or whatever in the Sony forums, feel free to let them have it, civily. There REALLY, REALLY isn't any reason to goto the Sony or N forums, and post anti-console garbage...Because it is a place for their owners to get together and discuss their system and sales, ala the manufacturer forums (at the company website, or whatever).

Is there a Japanese VO option? the name calling for every special move is a real turn off, it sounds embarrassing just to watch this. Other than that, I was hoping for this game to be turn based, now it looks like a StarOcean clone. Regardless, I'll still rent it.... but I REALLY REALLY hope there are Japanese VOs.

Probably will be a Japanese VA, or the ability to turn off the VA completely.

However, many great anime's call out the names of things before they are thrown. Dragonball Z, Bleach, Inuyasha.

Also, the game Tales of Vesperia, and every other Tales game does that as well.

It's an anime thing.

I'd say that concentrating on the VA is something you can do because you've only seen clips. If you had played the game, I'm sure the gameplay would stand out, good or bad, for you.

However, I'm sure those that will never play the game, won't have any further insite past the VA, ever, Japanese option or not.

@mrstickball: Yup, I may be heavily anti-360, but I'm all for IU, it shapes up to be great. Who knows? I may even get a 360 this gen, but I'm very unsure, so don't quote me on that.

Frankly, there very well are PS3 fanboys that would and have flamed this game just because it's on the 360.

Do you really think I'm just being paranoid? Is Gobias really an unbiased source of information and previews for all of your 360 exclusives? No way. He's gonna say the game sucks because it's on the Xbox 360, doesn't matter if it's Bioshock. Posters like him feel the need to marginalize games that they have no way of playing, and convince themselves that not only do they have no interest in them, but that anyone who does, is an idiot.

People view this game as a threat. PS3 fanboys will flame Star Ocean, and tons of other games.

Funny that I haven't heard any 360 fans flame WKS, but I've heard PS3 fans tout it as the best jRPG this generation.

There are way less 360 fans, than PS3. Excuse us if we veto the gangbangs of all our exclusives by the biased horde of hate.

...and if you think fanboyism is getting really lame, you've missed the internet the past few years. It's already GOT there. Every post here has an alterior motive. It's not hard to guess what the alterior motive is for acting like you hate how a 360 exclusive looks, when you only own a PS3, PSP, and PS2. These people think they can fool everyone, but their actions show they are creatures of habit, and the easiest people to predict on these forums.

Oh man...that new trailer looks awesome. Why, Microsoft, WHY?! Why both Tales and this in practically the same week?!

Dragon ball Z is hardly a great anime. But I'm well aware that Japanese anime often do that. Thing is, the english dubbing makes it sound alot worse. It's the difference between Ryu saying "shoryuken" opposed to "DRAGON PUNCH!".

But yea, The tales game really irk me because of the english dubbed name calling. I still remember Lloyd shouting out "STALAGMITE!!!" in the middle of battle when I'm trying to get a combo off. This is why I don't watch english dubbed anime, the only one I was OK with was Cowboy bebop.

You're not looking hard enough. It's often "boring repetitive gameplay", "Unbalance gameplay" and "reminds me of power rangers" in remarks to WKS from xboxfanboys. Just ask what starcraft thinks about it.

So, you admit it is true, but you claim that since PS3 fanboys have been beaten up so much in the past, it's only fair to let them troll and flame 360 exclusives, without pointing it out?

You think that people should be able to say whatever they want about a game, no matter what the motivations, and known PS3 fanboys hating on 360 exclusives, or vice versa, shouldn't even be discussed, or brought up?

This is an internet forum. A lot of you posters who can't really express their opinions as clearly as others, are really lucky the mods are here. Some of these guys would make it their business to eat you alive if they took a vacation.

If fanboys don't wanna get called out for hating on exclusives of competing consoles, they should cease to comment on them, or simply defend themselves. What they should NOT do if flame the guy who busted them out, for having the nerve to say anything.

It really does suck that I support all three consoles and get offended by the bashing of all 3. What is wrong with some of you people? Mrstickball did a pretty good job of bashing the PS3, but I don't really blame him since some of the trolls in this thread were even worse.

I hope you all realize how much you make me hate this site.
