So how does this British system work?? I mean.. the only thing I know about the Britisch schoolsystem is from "Teachers" ...

you do 3 lots of SATs year 3, year 6 and year 9... the first two mean pretty much nothing and the third one simply decides whether you are in the higher, intermediate, middle or foundation classes for GCSE. For GCSE the subjects you have to take vary depending where in Britain you live, normaly you have to take, english, science, maths, a technology of your choice, a language, and two subjects that are more specific to what you are interested in (I did art and sports studies). You work on your GCSE courses for two years then do the exams and then you can drop out of education if you want (but most people dont) The most common choice is to then go to sixth form to do A levels, you pick 3 or 4 subjects to study from a wider range than at GCSE and do the 1st year which is called AS and is worth 50% of your overall A level grade, many people drop a subject after taking it for a year if its too much work or they just dont like it. You then do A2 the second year of A levels, do the exams hope for the best and apply to universities. Although In a few years the compulsory education level will raised to after A levels meaning you will be at school until you are 18 which i think is a big mistake.
