Nintendo has Mario, Sega had Sonic, and for some time, it looked like Crash was PlayStation's mascotte. Crash is dead, and at the moment I can't think of any game character that could serve as a mascotte for Sony.

There's no doubt Mario helped Nintendo become big, so what do you think, does Sony need its own Mario?

Some people want the sackboys to be Sony's new mascot but those things are pretty ugly IMO.

I think that Sackboys are the next big push for a PS mascot.  They're so cute.

Sackboy could be Sony's next mascot. Maybe Kratos, hes awsome!

Mascots are so 1990's. Mario is the only guy still around. Sonic is on life support, Crash is dead.

I think Sony just needs a new marketing catch phrase like the Live in your world. Play in ours. No mascot needed, when something is good it sells itself.

Kratos is definitely the Mario of Sony though.

They had a great catch phrase: "the third place" now don't flame me.. but sony really had this catch phrase..

They do not need one, but having Kratos, Sackboy, Jak, Ratchet and .... GT should be good enough
