To say that NO ONE played these games is obviously exaggeration, but outside of gaming forums, these games are often ignored. They ALL had un-fantacular sales, but ARE fantacular games. I really need to play Ico. I loved Shadow of the Colossus but for some reason never got into that team's other PS2 game. And honestly I tried Psychonauts but I just didn't get into it. Yes, the writing is fantastic and hilarious, but the platforming is about as fun as watching molassus going uphill in January... with crutches...

I have to admit it: I'm not a Baldur's Gate 2 fan. I just didn't like it and un-installed it soon after I started playing. I was just totally bored with the thing the whole time I played it. Other than that, this list is pretty good. I wasn't aware that Oblivion went for such a cheap price nowadays. Oh, and the fact that not everyone on the planet has bought the Orange Box is a crime.

I think this list might be more rooted in the past than the future, but it still features fantastic choices. The fact that both Valve and Blizzard were given a polite shaft on this list is unfortunate, but I highly doubt that anyone without a football for a brain will debate ripten's choice for #1, and for good reason. Nintendo has, does, and will always rock.

Yes, yes, The Orange Box returns triumphantly to top a second list. I love collections, especially ones on the Wii, because it's hilarious to me that anyone would buy a Sonic game for $8 when it's possible to get 12 of them for $4 on one disk via the Sonic Mega Collection. If a company makes a collection disk, it usually means that the company is going down, and they need to cash in on the great games they made in the past FAST. And it's a great thing for consumers. Check out this list AND these games.

I actually happen to keep pretty close contact with Old-Wizard and am completely unsurprised by the lack of Sega on this list. Those guys hate Sega and everyone that likes it. I'm not as much of a Sega Hater but I more or less agree with this list, except for the total lack of the number 64.

I can't understand how the list #8 doesn't put Sony anywhere, I'm not saying they should be No. 1, but at the very least they should beat Activision. And list #3 is simply horrible, Wii No.3? Xbox No.8???? PS2 No. 7?????????????????????? Who in his right mind puts PS2 #7?. The others are fine, though I'd added Katamari Damacy to the top budget titles

Yea, they should've taken the 1st Xbox out of the list. It only had about 6 good games, not including Halo 1&2. The PS2 should've been like 2 or 3, depending on how the Wii does in a few years. No Dreamcast?

I liked Star Fox Adventures, it had a nice length and fur shading.

LucasArts should be taken out and replaced with a Sony division. If today was a day in 1999, I would have Rare where Namco is and put Namco somewhere else.

Some things are very stupid.
Example:
Top Ten Developers - 2. Namco 3. Capcom 4. Konami..... sounds Japan biased

Dissapointest Console Exclusives - 1. Killzone (C'mon it wasn't a bad game. It was a bit better than mediocre so there are much worse dissapointments in gaming history)

Game consoles of ALL time - Playstation 2 on 7th place and PS1 on the 4th ??? Also why is the Wii already at place 3 and nowhere is any sign of the 360 though it IS already better than it's predecessor. (I think we can all agree to that even if it's a bit early)

The Top 10 Gaming Consoles of All Time list just plain sucks.

all good except list #3. thats a bull shit list. other than N64 all nintendo consoles are up there which is bs. is there even a difference between NES and SNES?


#1 should be NES since it kind of saved gaming, #2 should be PS2 since its best selling of all time and still selling.

how did they even decide on the top consoles? is it by success or innovation or what?

My top 10 console list would be:

1. NES

2. PS2

3. Atari 2600

4. Playstation

5. SNES

6. Genesis

7. Wii

8. Dreamcast

9. 360

10. PS3


in a couple years all three current gen consoles will have moved up. But NES and PS2 should stay 1 and 2 for many years to come.
