Sigh, I traded every PS3 game in because of those damn fans, I have now got 0, Zilch, Nada PS3 games to go with a broken overheating POS PS3, and this is the 2nd time out of warranty. Trade the games, pay for repairs and then repeat it once more and then there are no more games left to trade or play.

It should not be going down this way, I positively molest my Xbox360. Its practically next to my heater and I absolutely treat my PS3 like a saint in comparison. 

So yea, tell me something, why should I keep it? Whats so awesome about the PS3 that if in spite of my belief in its horrible reliability and expensive repairs that acts as a compelling reason for it to stay?

 

And you sense no cynicism or bias in your stance towards the PS3? I've been lurking the forums for over a year and this is a trend. Your words are sounding increasingly shallow and I'm pretty sure you will never find a use for the PS3 because you are never going to give it a chance. Therefore, I say just chuck out your window so I don't have to read anymore of these stupid threads.

He's being totally serious.  His ps3 has broken twice, and he has traded in all his games.

Im filled with self pity and luckily that joyous thought of dousing the PS3 with petrol and putting the flaming video on youtube was only briefly in my head.

i'm really surprised never thought that the ps3 would break that easily
my ps1 and ps2 are amazing, we are a big family and the ps2 is on all the time and never breaks , the only problem that it has is dust collecting
anyway i'm sorry for u ,,, :) i can't imagine that happening to me
i say wait till u they prodoce SKUs that produce less heat and better design
they did that with ps1 and ps2 ,
besides , 360 is having great games this months , they will keep u busy ;)

WHOA!!!  If he waits for Sony to come out with a redesigned SKU he will be waiting for quite a while.  As of right now they seem to be at least 1-2 years away from that, and we all know how big Sony's big hitters are that will be coming out in that time frame.

Maybe you are too accustomed to the 360 fan noise... I doubt you have a ps3 anyways. I wonder how much of your post counts are made up of these types of meaningless threads :/
