get it fixed man, that is so unluky for that to happen twice, but get it fixed man, you don't want to miss out on all the great exclusives to come... if it breaks a third time... then i dont know what i would do

Sigh, I traded every PS3 game in because of those damn fans, I have now got 0, Zilch, Nada PS3 games to go with a broken overheating POS PS3, and this is the 2nd time out of warranty. Trade the games, pay for repairs and then repeat it once more and then there are no more games left to trade or play.

It should not be going down this way, I positively molest my Xbox360. Its practically next to my heater and I absolutely treat my PS3 like a saint in comparison. 

So yea, tell me something, why should I keep it? Whats so awesome about the PS3 that if in spite of my belief in its horrible reliability and expensive repairs that acts as a compelling reason for it to stay?

I reread your post. Do you think it's faulty wiring? It sucks wasting money if the fans suck. Get it fixed or move on.

Forget the PS3 and stick with the xbox360, because sony will do well with out you.

it depends how you value the PS3. If you want it fixed, then trade in your 360 games and get it fixed. If you don't, use it as a door holder. It's up to you, when my PS3 and 360 broke, I underwent a simple process and got them repaired. It's that simple.

I convinced him to keep the ps3.  He said he would only do it under the condition that we play LBP together.  He mentioned something about Kratos and Nariko role playing...um, it was wierd.  >_>

I assume it is out of warantee, but you should still get it fixed for LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2, MS 2 and then stuff like Killzone 2 and inFamous next year, as well as the great PSN offerings like SOCOM Confrontation, WipEout HD and Ratchet and Clank Quest for Booty

Ok we get it already, U dislike SONY and PS3, I dislike Microsoft and Xbox360 ( My bro has 1), but I Don't go making pointless threads about how I hate Microsoft and how I absolutely praise SONY and the ground they walk on ;)

And you sense no cynicism or bias in your stance towards the PS3? I've been lurking the forums for over a year and this is a trend. Your words are sounding increasingly shallow and I'm pretty sure you will never find a use for the PS3 because you are never going to give it a chance. Therefore, I say just chuck out your window so I don't have to read anymore of these stupid threads.
