This is the absolute best scene in gaming and happens to be one of the saddest. Everything was done just perfectly and only with sprites.

(the main part starts at about 3:30 but this is the whole sequence if you want to watch that -- I did)

I always scip that part beacuse I want Cid alive so I only feed him healty fish not rotten ones.

The scene were Cyan runs after his dead wife and child on the doomtrain was a really sad one aswell.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing (mostly)

She's a good healer though >_> lol.

This scene was very sad. It like cut me in two. It's sad because of what could of been. Cloud had fallen for Aerith and if you were intune with the story, you would understand the impact. It was very emotional and unexpected.

What about otacon when Naomi dies. Otacon has had alot of sad moments :(

The end of Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals.

To this day, there are few if any games that can match the character development and bonding of Lufia II. Of the 16-bit era, only Final Fantasy VI comes close and even then none of its scenes can match the sorrow in the events that occur at the end of Lufia II.
