They brought an amazing online service. Being able to download/rent movies and TV shows. Being able to communicate with your friends, play with them, compete with them with achievements and trophies. Being able to download demos. Try out a game before buying it or not. Choose your own user name and invite your friends. Download DLC for your games to enjoy and play with the more. Can you do all of that on Wii?

Now they are. And because of that, more heavy hitter mega hits will come to the Wii. Those who are pessimistic about it, must've never like the Wii, or Nintendo for that matter, to begin with.

He's allowed to post what ever, he's not flame baiting, he just wants to see whats people think.

Wii isn't exactly the Hardcore Console.  More people own a casual console then a Hardcore one.

I'm a Wii Fan, and there are some Traditional Games, but I am sad that I can't get more games that I really like on Wii.


Million is being melodramatic but he's doing it to get a point across.

Don't be such a Nintendo Fanboy where you trick yourself into thinking the Wii really is for everyone. You sound just as bad as the "ten year plan" people.

Obliterator, when it comes to sales at the point in their lives, the Wii is competing with them....and guess what...*gasp*.....

People always think they can keep chasing the sunset for much longer than they really can. Sooner or later, you either get tired or hit an impassable barrier. And then you're left to watch helplessly as the dark comes, regretting that you would be in the bright sunlight of a new day right now if you just hadn't been so determined to catch up to that unstoppable force...

Welcome to being a lapsed gamer, if you can't tell Nintendo is not the one to blame this generation.

THIRD PARTY DEVELOPERS ARE TO BLAME!

- Third PArty developers are the ones starving the Wii of support thus leaving it in this predicament.

- Third PArty developers are the ones not making new lps this generation and focusing rather on only stagnating sequels for the HD consoles.

- Third Party developers are the ones making this one of the most lack luster generations ever.

Also, you don't want games that are fun or enjoyable, you want games that are popular.

Hm, i've been thinking. Maybe it's not the Wii's fault that Getaway and Eight Days got cancelled, but the XBOX360. 360 and PS3 provides the same experience so the 360 actually stole some of the people who planned to buy a PS3. Same experience, cheaper price.

Torillian, you do know a lot of the stuff the Ps360 can do is mainly done with the Ipods right? You know, downloading movies, music, video.


The Wii is also able to play online with friends, will have voice chat, and will have dlc, as shown with Samba de Amigo. The only thing you listed that can't be done on other things is Achievements.

Beside Achievement and Trophies...nothing you said is actually a console thing, it is a PC thing.
