Geez i need to get me a new DS. My DS phat's top screen is cracked. This is another game to add to my wanted list. Thanks Stof!

I don't know if Nintendo offer teh same service in the USA but when my DS broke out of warranty (the hinges snapped) I contacted Nintendo and for £25 they sent me a new one.

yeah I called customer service and it costs $75 to fix it. I was like F-that, I'll just buy a DS lite. Problem is I never got around to buying a new one.

I thought it looked amazing, but it got horrible reviews, please continue, I wanted this game until the rewiews, so far your selling me :)

The reviews have been mostly good actually. If you look at game rankings:

DS-x2 - 87%
GameAlmighty - 86%
Official Nintendo Magazine UK - 81
GamesTM 0 80
IGN - 80
Computer& Video Games UK 77
Gamespot - 60
Eurogamer - 60
1UP - 40

I just read the 1UP review. I really didn't think very much of it. They mostly say that the controls don't work at all... which seems weird to me, as I think the controls are one of the reasons the game works so well. I admit that turning can be slow, but aiming and running around work like a breeze and makes the game much more fun than a standard controller. To me the review sounded like "We don't think this kind of game is what the DS is meant for" which is stupid.

So in conclusion, there are many positive reviews for Brothers in Arms DS. Of course few of the possitive ones were counted in Gamerankings overall average, but who cares.

I read the 1up review originally, bastards.

If IGN say 80 and most of the others are mainly over 80 then that's good enough for me.

1-up also said third person action was a strike against it, the reviewer must think Resident Evil 4 and Gears of War bite as well

Brothers in Arms deserves better sales than it's 1st week..Maybe in Europe it will fare better. (I imported mine so sadly won't be getting the EU version.)
