I'm allergic to cats, although I'm interested that they can scare away crickets. Do they eat them?

They jump on them, kill them then eat them.

That's really cruel...

Win.

Before you get rid of those crickets, put one in a jar with a grasshopper and a toothpick. Videotape the whole thing, and upload it on youtube. I wanna see who'd win in a fight. If you have a locust, toss him in there too. He can be the referee.

Maybe for the undecard, you can have a wasp fight a bee! And the praying mantis can come in with a steel chair! I'm getting excited just thinking about it!! When can we expect the video, Hatchet? I'm calling all my friends over to watch it.

As for some practical advice, move to the city. Cicadas used to annoy the hell out of me when I lived in a semi-rural area. And yet car alarms and police sirens and everything else you hear around the clock in an urban area doesn't bother me one bit.

SOmetimes they just cripple them and let them die without eating them.

I have a severe problem with crickets in my house. Although they generally hide in the dark crevices of my house during the day, they spread out at night and rear their disgusting heads whenever possible. There's really nothing I can do to stop them from entering my house, so does anyone have any bright ideas on how to get rid of them?

I've tried scented glue traps. Many valiant crickets died because of my cruelty, but it still did not prevent them from roaming my house, crawling on my bed, and hopping around whenever I get near them. Currently, there's one inside my closet chirping incredibly loudly. I can hear his incessant chirping even with my headphones on full blast (listening to Buddy Holly, and I mean the song).

Anyone have any bright ideas?

Pay $30-40 every other month to have an exterminator come to your house. That's what I do to keep all them desert bitches at bay.
