Forums - General - Crickets are annoying

Go with Fernando's suggestion. It just pisses them off so they leave of their own freewill. That way you don't kill anything and mess up your karma.

You might need to move to where people actually live at.

My answer:

move.

Pest Control would probably laugh if I called them to get rid of crickets. The species is pretty common to the area anyways so I doubt I'm the only person with the problem. Anyways, the beeper looks like a good solution and I'll search for it online.

Thanks Fernando!

And now I'll leave this thread open to bicker and banter unless it dies off quickly.

You are welcome.

Is a very good solution... it doesn't uses a lot of electric energy, and is perfectly safe. The sound is ultrasonic, so, you wont hear it.

Let us know if it worked for you.

I'm allergic to cats, although I'm interested that they can scare away crickets. Do they eat them?

They jump on them, kill them then eat them.

What did this cute lil guy ever do to you?  Do you leave your door open all the time?  I haven't really heard of anyone ever having cricket problems.  We call them grasshoppers anyway.  That could be it.
