Yes, you should have bought Braid.

Online multiplayer is just that. A bullet point for the back of the box, to make videogame fans, who feel it's necessary, some new novely they feel entitled to. Who really cares about the online leaderboards in Doom. Online adds social interaction usually, not often intersting or worthy gameplay(with exceptions like WoW, and most shooters). Multiplayer in GH3, for instance. Why does that exist? Let me explain:

Very rarely does online multiplayer actually add more to one game than it adds to any other game.

Don't you feel a little too entitled. Isn't online mode something that you probably don't need in the first place? Isn't it like complaining that Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn doesnt' incorporate waggle?

That's about as clearly as I can state it.

lol...pretty funny stuff. All I'm saying is that online mode would have made the game 2x as good as thee is no way I can play this with most of my freinds that like this game in the same room. Also think about it...Xbox live is an online network...a 2 player game off xbox live not supporting online play is kind of an faux pas.

It appears they tried it but it was more difficult than it looks I guess...

Nevertheless I will be playing Geometry wars 2 for months to come as its awesome...however I sure hope they have online mode in part 3.

lol, as always disolitude, I aim to please.

Sometimes, when I'm lazing around and don't feel like getting into a retail game, I like to just boot up whatever I have on deck in XBLA. Lately it's been Doom and Geometry Wars. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

They say its not technically possible to do due to lag on modern networks, if you're any good you'd understand ;)

Updating the trajectories of all those little bits in real time!!!! No chance!

Lol sure. I was never a fan of the first geometry wars. It just got really repetitive for me really fast. My resons for not enjoying it are obviousley a matter of taste and I would deffinitly say the game is excellent from a critical standpoint. However, calling it a AAA 360 game is kindof exaggerating. Wack was inserted there to reffer to the fact that when we say AAA, we are comparing Geometry Wars 2 to games like Mass Effect, Bioshock, Gears of War and Grand Theft Auto IV. Thus, Geometry Wars is a wack game.
