FFX is much better but LO is still very good...

But FFX was the first fully 3D RPG I think so it had that wow factor and made you like the game more.

Is it actually that much better....prolly not...it is better but not by miles...I did like the story a LOT though in FFX (parts of it...the whole "sin" thing, and the Auron character were simply amazing to me).

lost odyssey is hell alot better than ffx, better story and character developement, just better in every area. lost odyssey is my new favorite rpg of all time, now ff8 is second on my list of rpg's. u will love lost odyssey and enjoy it alot . ffx is a good rpg, just not in lost odyssey's league.

Final Fantasy X has the better story, though they are tied when it comes to character development. Lost Odyssey's story is kind of...how do I put it....generic.
