I think LBP will be pretty entertaining. I would imagine there is something else they are not telling us about the game.

The PSP probably couldn't handle the advanced physics.

Honestly, even if LBP doesn't live up to what some Sony fans/previews are making it out to be, it still won't suck nearly as much as any of the games on that list, it won't even be in the same league.

And lol at you people that for some reason think LBP will sell oodles and oodles.  Don't get me wrong, I think it's going to be a good game with a great level editor but the community is going to be lame and it's just not going to sell because it's too cute for the PS3.

I was actually at a bar last night and they happened to have ESPN on where they kept showing the same PS3 commercial at every opportunity.  I happened to listen to the people near me and they cheered and loved the idea of the baseball and racing game that was being showin in the commercial but they scoffed at the idea of LBP.

Sure, the people on this forum will know that LBP isn't a bad game, but the people that hang out on forums like these or scour the news sites like Kotaku aren't the masses, it's those people in the bars that are wondering what that kiddy crap is being shown with their cool games.

Also, it's not really right to compare LBP to any other traditional platformer.  A traditional platformer like your Mario games has a purpose or goal and LBP does not have one other than to share and is completely user driven.  They are two different games.  Similar yes in some aspects, but still very different.

Well then make you own goal in LBP.   Jump throught some platforms defeat the boss and save the princess.

 

 

Yeah, that's one level though and not a game (I almost made the mistake of writing level in that post originally then I knew some smart alleck would say something :-p).

Then make 50 levels!!  (I expect some geeks who would make a lot of levels and let it download together). I mean you have a lot of options and it would be great to make some original levels with even vehicles.

Other than LBP and sonic I agree with almost all the games there.
