No one knows if this game will be good or not. It's not released yet. Shouldn't journalists be able to speak their mind about their expectations towards coming games? Should all journalists have the same opinions about everything? A problem with gaming journalism is in my opinion lack of independent thinking.

Nice list. I for one don't see the appeal of LBP. I have always thought it will be a cult classic and not really sell all that well.

I mean it screams quality, yet without in full featured game it won't appeal to the masses. The level editor part should be an bonus feature.

But, meh I could be completely wrong. However, if you compare it to Spore or Civ games, they both can get started without very much creating. You just give it a little and it does the majority of the game. Whereas this seems like you have to create the whole game and then just run through it, kinda like Line Rider, a *free* game I got bored with in 1 hour.

I'm sure it was the same people that say you earn points in GTAIV for taking pictures of yourself and sending them to evil online predators.

LoL, you guys and your hate for LBP is just funny. I guess you guys must have hated every 2D mario and every 8bit and 16bit platformer. Then you guys go and bash user content because you can't make a level without cocks all over the place, not everyone is like you. Most people will make great levels and have fun playing them with friends.

Some yes. Me at first aswell but when I played it with my friends (Lan) I got hooked to it.  I am not saying with this that LBP will be popular like CS.  It could be huge but it can fail aswell.  Oh well I know I am going to enjoy it with some friends online.

The fact that you predict it doesn't show that the anger is misplaced.

The article 1) implies that the PS3 needs LBP as a reason to buy the system and 2) neglects that for most people, PLAYING the ever-expanding user-generated content will be the main fun, so it's no criticism to say that most people will design only average levels if they decide to give it a whirl. 

I think the article got LBP way wrong.  I didn't read the rest.
