I'm glad someone (well, besides me) finally had the balls to say that LBP won't be the Godsend that people make it out to be. Previewers seem to be rating it highly upon its /potential/ to be a good game, rather than the fact that it actually /looks like/ a good game.

At best that's only partly true.  If they really wanted to attack it it would have been no. 1.

He did.  Which is my point... just because that's true doesn't mean it sucks.

All content creation games are like that about 70% of people make crap, 20% of people make average levels all about the same, 8% make good to great levels and 2% make something really special.

IT's got nothing to do with the community, or the gameplay, it's got eveyrthing to do with the fact that very few people are actually talented or creative enough in level design and working around what your given to make awesomeness.

If i understand correctly ( please understand that i really just didn't read anything about LBP and it's gameplay) LBP is a game where you have to go from point A to point B, whereas the levels are either created by the devs or by the users themselves.

I take it that this is rather a multiplayer game than anything else.

Is there anything else or have i capped it entirely?



Huh. Who would've thought that beggining anew in my real life would coincide with starting anew on vgchartz?

Any day now, the dollar will be worth less than 2 zloty......any day now.....and my life savings will be in total jepordy ;(.

Well, I have to agree with Garcian in that I'm completely underwhelmed by this game.  So far it has shown me nothing that would make me interested in playing it.  Probably the guy who made the list feels the same way.  Getting defensive and calling somebodies opinion an "attack" won't make the game any better or worse.  Just buy it if you want to, don't if you don't.
